Michael joined the Unity Pharmacy family in March 2024. Michael was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, before attending the University of Pittsburgh, School of Pharmacy. During his pharmacy education, he focused on electives of care to underserved populations because he has a strong sense of social justice and providing cost-effective pharmaceutical care. He started his pharmacy career in 2014 working for an independent pharmacy in the south hills of Pittsburgh that offered retail, long-term care, and compounding services. Upon graduation, he began his career working for a large retail chain.
Michael believes in a patient-centered, team-based approach to health care, with pharmacists advocating for appropriate medication use. He enjoys building long term relationships with his patients to understand their medical and pharmaceutical needs to reinforce patient specific goals. Chronic conditions need continued support from the entire health care team, including your local pharmacist. He prides himself on being available to provide accurate pharmaceutical counselling and cost-effective care.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two cats, cooking new recipes, reading Stephen King novels, and engaging in self-care activities.
